2 Months to 12 Months
Our infant program provides a safe healthy loving environment for infants. It is designed to enhance each baby's development while allowing them to explore and learn at their own pace. We have age appropriate toys to stimulate exploration. We talk to your baby, hold and rock them, attending to their every need so that they feel loved and safe in our care.
Infants are in the main part of the day care, stated in the WAC'S they must be seen and heard at all times.
12 Months to 24 Months
Our program for this age group, provides an enriching environment. Our program is designed to enhance each child's individual development while introducing them into a larger group of children. When they are 18 months old they start to sleep on a matt at nap time.
2 years to 3 years
Our preschool program is designed to help children learn how to develop a love of learning. Your child will also be introduced to group circle time, table time, arts and crafts, more.
Not all children enjoy sitting and learning, I also teach in play. Even though they are not participating, they can hear what I am trying to teach them.
As children reach pre-k, it is time to introduce them to a group setting where they can learn to interact with one another and develop critical social skills. They we be introduced to many of the concepts they will use in kindergarten and throughout their lives.
Parents need to have their part in this stage of learning. We do pre-k three days a week.
Lowell school is the elementary school in our area. There is a school bus that picks up and drops off close to the day care. Children can work on their home work if that is what parents want. They have their own area to play and enjoy their friends. Private computers and electronic games and toys are not allowed. No cell phones at all.
